The LABOR DAY ROUND UP
A true Franklin tradition, running now for 79 years!
(It would have been 80 years, if not for COVID)
The Round Up is a family fair that runs from 10am to 3pm
on Labor Day - Monday September 2nd, with a Parade at Noon.
The ROUND UP is located at the FCA Park, from 10-3.
Midway Games and Prizes, Pony and Horse Rides (new company) and Petting Farm,
Inflatables (Candy Land Bounce House, Obstacle Course, and Giant Corn Maze),
Sandy Candy, Face Painting, and Henna Tattoos.
FREE Interactive Circus, Bowling Ball Juggler, Magic Show at 2pm, and Roaming Clowns on Stilts
Enjoy FOOD from Leo’s Coney Island of West Bloomfield, Roasted Corn, Roasted Nuts,
Ice Cream Bars from Bombshell Treats, Kona Ice, Lemonade, Kettle Corn,
Cotton Candy and homemade baked goods at our Bake Sale!
Also, come enjoy our Classic Car Show, Franklin Historical Society Display,
Garden Club Plant Sale, Bonzai Trees, and Dog Rescue.
ART IN THE VILLAGE
Franklin's FINE ART SHOW runs on Labor Day from 10am to 5pm.
Located on our Village Green, in front of the Church, the art show will celebrate its 43rd year.
Featured are exceptional works in glass, pottery, fiber, furniture, jewelry, photography, painting, watercolor, wood, sculpture, metal, etc...
There will be LIVE musical performances throughout the day.

The LABOR DAY PARADE
Parade begins 12pm noon and travels down Franklin Road from Evelyn Ct to Carol St.
Announcer stage is across from the post office, but people set up/watch along the entire route.
Franklin Road is closed down from 14 to Carol at 11:30.
So, we encourage you to come early to park and find a spot to sit and enjoy the parade.

Enjoy the benefits of FCA membership.
Tickets are $2 each - pricing varies for activities, vendors, and food.
On Labor Day, tickets can be purchased at Ticket Tents, by cash, check or Venmo.
FCA Members who PRE-PAY can SKIP the line,
receive $10 off any ticket purchase of $40 or more,
AND get a free FCA tote bag - compliments of Novak Realtors.

PARKING
Parking located along side streets and on two baseball fields
(entry point off Wellington at Carol and at the Church)
Handicapped parking available in the Church parking lot.
Free parking - donations appreciated.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are greatly needed to make our Round Up a success.
NHS students and other groups can receive Volunteer Community Service Credit Hours.

VOLUNTEER Opportunities Include:
SET-UP the Saturday before Round Up - Aug 30th, 9am-2pm
Driving GOLF CARTS is one of the fun perks of the job!
Help move things out of the barn, set up tables, chairs, garbage boxes,
put flags and signs on tents, help with the games tent, decorate the gazebo, etc...
Bagels, coffee and juice provided.
For Community Service Credit, sign in/out will be available.
On Labor Day Monday, 8am-3pm
We need volunteers to finish Setting up, Run midway games and Give out prizes,
Help with pony rides, petting farms, and inflatables,
Sell tickets, Help with parking, Pass out water, etc...
For Community Service credits, sign in/out will be available at Ticket Tent #1.
CLEAN UP on Labor Day from 3pm-5pm
We greatly appreciate help with cleaning up.
Please come with friends and give any amount of time you can.
Many hands make light work.
For Community Service credits, DOUBLE HOURS will be given to those helping with clean up!
